The Organizing Committee of the Russian Cup for Snow and Ice Sculpture “Zimniy Vernissage” invites experienced sculptors, painters and artists to participate in the prequalification selection of the participants for the project. The Cup will be held from 10 through to 18 January 2015. Applications can be sent till 01 September 2014.

Last weekend a qualification tour of the Cup of Russia of Snow and Ice Sculpture “Zimniy Vernissage” in category “Ice Sculpture” finished in Salekhard.

A monumental sculpture “A Mourning Soldier” was erected on 21 September in Salekhard, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. The monument became one of the key-objects of the Victory Park. The building of the park started in 2010.
